This morning’s run was a bit brisker than yesterday’s longer run. The moon was leading the way as I ran alongside the sea’s edge. Considering we are almost into December the weather is very warm and a short sleeve T-shirt and shorts are all that’s needed.

Harbour Coffee
Another beautiful Sunday and time for one of our favourite Sunday pastimes, drinking coffee and reading the paper in the sunshine. The harbour is an ideal place, water, boats, fishermen and lovely views of the hills. A great place to sit and relax. Our usual cafe is closed for annual holidays and we have tried a new one for the last couple of weeks.
Long run
Not really that long but longer than I’ve been running lately. Very pleasant conditions and a few photo opportunities.

Cross de la Artilleria 14k race
This is the second time we have run this race. We continue to be impressed by the way they cater for such a variety of entrants. There are races for all ages, 1/4 mile, 1 mile (I don’t know where they get the mile distance from), 6k and 14k. There are separate races for youngsters, a race for runners with dogs and of course, the 14k race that Lesley and I did. The race is organised by the army, complete with marching bands and big guns.
Conditions this year were very windy, quite challenging when running uphill and against the wind. We were both a little slower than last year but still managed to finish second place in our respective categories.
It was lovely to be cheered in near the finish by John and Maureen Dixon and friends Pat and Brian.
Paddy Singh’s for a curry
The beauty of having a car is that it’s easy to pop off to Los Urrutias for a meal. Paddy Singh’s is always popular, but, if you go early you can usually get a table. Lovely meal.
Light windsurfing
For the first time in 3 weeks, it looked like it might be windy and there were a lot of us hovering in anticipation. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as windy as we had hoped for but I got a bit done using my 7.5m² sail.
