Dunham Massey 5k

After a cold, wet and windy day the evening was not looking too promising so we felt some relief when the rain held off for the warm up and race. The race is two and a bit laps with a net gain in height, so not a pb course. Lesley didn’t realise this and so ran 24:55 to dip under 25 minutes for the first time. Charlie (Rowlands) and I battled all the way round with Charlie pulling away from me on the final climb to the finish but he did drag me round in my fastest time on this course in 5 years and I finished in 20:12 and first MV60.
