After a cold and wet day today we were not looking forward to this race, however the rain stopped and there was a little sunshine if not very warm. Neither of us were able to match our time at Market Drayton but Lesley did win her age group.
I finished in 43:06, 2nd in age group behind my good friend and rival Mick Beardmore and Lesley finished in 51:41. Clayton is a tough 2 lap course, very few flat bits and the challenge is to keep enough for the second lap. Many thanks to Bryan Dale for the photos as always.
