Trip to Llanddulas Wales

Running and biking

Dry but dull this morning as we set off on our run. We took the coastal path towards Rhyl; the path was near by, a couple of hundred metres down a road from the campsite. Les turned round first and ran about 4 miles and Mel carried on and did about 9 miles. The sun eventually came out and it was a pleasant route by the sea.

Later we cycled the other way along the coastal path towards Llandudno. The path was more undulating this way and the tarmac rougher, there was also work building work on the sea front near Rhos-on-Sea. We stopped in Rhos and had our sandwiches and then cycled back to the campsite at Llanddulas. The weather had improved by now as promised so we sat outside the motor home in the sunshine.

Trip to Llanddulas Wales

Set off for North Wales late morning and arrived at Bron-y-Wendon Touring Caravan Park, Llanddulas early afternoon. Pitch allocated on this site but it was a newly established pitch and we had trouble levelling the motor home as the ramps sank into the gravel. The warden moved us to the adjacent pitch which was more established and on a firm base so we could get the motor home level. Nice site with views out to sea but A55 on one side and railway line on the other so not quiet!
